One-time Aston Villa target Mbaye Diagne says current Villa Park star believes he ‘would thrive’ in England

Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne has been discussing his troubles at Belgian side Club Brugge on loan and plans for the future amid several links with English football. 

, he touched on recent links to Nottingham Forest and previous links with Newcastle United, Everton and Crystal Palace. 

However, his comments regarding Aston Villa might interest fans at Villa Park.
