One in, one out: The Deadline Day deals Liverpool should prioritise

Liverpool fans have had a𝄹ll their dreams answered throughout this summer’s transfer window, and it’ll be interesting to see if the Merseyside club’s boss Jurgen Klopp has anything up his sleeve on deadline day.

The Reds now have a team that can be genuine title contenders this season, and it would be far from a travesty if they failed to sign anyone else before tonight’s deadline. However, don’t be surprised if you see a fair few familiar faces leave Anfield duri🍎ng today’s antics.

Here, we take a look▨ at one potential arrival and departure Liverpool should prioritis🅰e on deadline day.

Potential arrival – Nabil Fekir (Lyon)

This move seemed all but sealed back in June, with the talented Fren꧃ch midfielder conducting a medical and interview with the club’s television channel. 🧸However, the deal somehow fell through.

There is no denying what Fekir would bring to Liverpool; a sense of creativity behind their phenomenal front three – a creativity which has been lacking since Phillippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona last season – and the fi🗹repower needed to win trophies.

There is just something about this whole fiasco which screams of unfinished business. Whether that means the 25-🔯year-old joins Jurgen Klopp’s exciting outfit today, or moves elsewhere, remains to be seen.

The Lyon midfielder would be the cherry on top of the ca🧸ke of Liverpool’s transfer window and has the potential to be one of the savviest bits of business the club has done all summer.

Potential departure – Danny Ings

According to th🌱e  Liverpool forward Danny Ings looks set to leave the club today, with Crysta🌃l Palace and Southampton leading the way for the Englishman’s signature.

It is a shame Ings didn’t reach the heights he displayed at Burnley during his time at Anfield, nevertheless 🏅this is a move that needed to happen this summer.

A move away suits both parties, with Ings desperately needing a fresh start after a torrid time on Merseyside; albeit due toᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ injuries and the Reds gaining a reported fee for the strik🍌er.

Ings is likelyꩵ to join a number of names leaving Merseyside today, including Simon Mignolet, Lazar Markovic, Divock Origi and Pedro Chirivella – a clear out this Liverpool side has been crying out for.

To move forward and onto bigger and better things Jurgen Klopp needed to get rid of some of thꦺe dead weight in his side and, unfortunately for Ings, he is one o🍌f them.
