‘Oh my’, ‘sensational’: Some Man City fans think 20-year-old ‘baller’ has bright future at the Etihad
A number of Manchester City fans have praised Felix Nmecha for his latest performance for the Citizens Under-23s.
The 20-year-old midfielder scored a brace en route to a 7-1 demolition of Southampton’s U23s in Monday night’s Premier League 2 clash at the Academy Stadium.
Liam Delap, Nmecha, Callum Doyle and Adrian Bernabe found the net for Enzo Maresca’s charges, who have gone five points clear on top of the Division One table.

Remarkably for Nmecha, he wasn’t in the starting XI and was brought on in the 80th minute, as a replacement for Sammy Edozie.
Despite having just 10 minutes to make an impact, he scored two goals from close range, the latter from a “seemingly impossible angle”, to cap off a superb day for City’s U23s.
Here is what some City fans were saying about Nmecha’s display:
Felix Nmecha has just scored a ridiculous goal!!! Danced around 3 players on the end line before squeezing it in at the near post
