‘Off to Newcastle’, ‘£40m’: Some fans think their ‘huge talent’ could join Magpies
Newcastle United have been linked with Spurs midfielder Dele Alli in recent weeks.
In wake of the recent Magpies takeover, the St James’ Park club has been linked with a multitude of players, coaches and directors.
Spanish outlet claims Newcastle want to sign Alli in January, making him one of their first targets after their takeover.

The 25-year-old has been a regular starter for much of his time at N17, but he has struggled in recent years.
Last season, Alli didn’t exactly get a great deal of game time under former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
This term, Nuno Espirito Santo reinstated the England international back to the starting XI, and he did well initially.
However, Alli has sat out Tottenham’s last three Premier League games as an unused substitute.
And on Wednesday, he didn’t even make the Carabao Cup squad to face Burnley.
This latest snub suggests that Nuno could now see Alli as surplus to his requirements.
And some Spurs fans reckon he’ll be off in January, with Newcastle a likely destination:
How much do you think we can get for Dele? If Newcastle really are interested I think we can get around 40M

Dele alli to Newcastle is nailed on in jan isn’t it

Scenes next season when Newcastle finish above us with Dele and Winks pulling the strings and the rest of the side made up from players our fans said weren’t good enough for us like Lingard Evans Maddison Zaha Wilson Dunk & Tarkowski.

He is a huge talent but does need a change of scene. One of my favourite players of the last 5 years but best for all parties if we go our separate ways now.

5 Defenders on the bench and no Alli and Winks, they’re gone in January
— Steve Owen (@SteveOwen16)
Nuno finally had enough of Winks and Dele. Taking 5 defenders instead on the bench speakes volumes. Paratici has a job to do before the January transfer window!!
