Nuno shares why Harry Winks is missing from Tottenham squad
Nuno Espirito Santo has responded when asked on why Harry Winks is missing from the Tottenham Hotspur squad taking on Arsenal on Sunday.
What’s the story?
Spurs fans, understandably, will have been incredibly anxious ahead of the announcement of the teams for the North London derby.
And one of the talking points that they may have picked up on is the absence of Winks.

The midfielder was missing from the match day squad for the first time this season in the Premier League.
He has previously been an unused substitute against Manchester City, Watford and Chelsea. Meanwhile, he started against Crystal Palace and came on against Wolves.
However, he was nowhere to be seen against Arsenal. And when asked about the 25-year-old, Nuno seemed to suggest that there was no injury behind the call.

“Because we have to make decisions,” . “Unfortunately, it’s not possible to have everybody.”
Winks has plenty to prove as Nuno leaves him out of Tottenham squad for North London derby
It may surprise many that Winks is missing. He is a player who has come in for plenty of criticism during his time in the Tottenham first-team.
Spurs’ bench does not look particularly strong in terms of their midfield options. But Oliver Skipp was outstanding against Wolves in midweek, so it is no surprise that he is in the ranks.
It shows the task Winks now has to silence his doubters at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It is a huge game for Tottenham. And it perhaps says a lot that Nuno feels that he does not need the academy graduate.
