Nuno could be about to unleash two Tottenham players in the PL for the first time on Saturday – TBR View

Nuno may well be about to start both Joe Rodon and Bryan Gil for the very first time for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, as the North London club’s injury problems mount.
First chances
Tottenham are set to be without both Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez this weekend, as the pair are both having to isolate.
That leaves a gaping hole in their defence, which Rodon looks the most natural fit for.
Nuno could switch Japhet Tanganga into central defence, but he looks more comfortable on the right now, and Rodon may be in line to receive his big chance.
The 23-year-old has actually struggled with injury himself, but has been back in full training with Wales this week, which suggests he is now fully fit.
Elsewhere, Tottenham’s attacking options could also be limited.
Gil to step up?
Steven Bergwijn was picture with heavy strapping on his ankle last night, while Heung-Min Son has also picked up an injury.

The extent of the Spurs’ attacker’s problems are not yet known, but with a game in a matter of days’ time, they could both be sidelined.
If they are then Gil looks the most likely player to step into Tottenham’s team.
Gil has shown flashes of quality in the Europa Conference League, but is yet to really be given a chance in the Premier League and it will be interesting to see how the young Spaniard copes, if he is to be given his full domestic debut.
