Nottingham Forest ready to open talks with ‘fantastic’ player over new contract

Nottingham Forest are flying high at present as they moved into the Premier League’s top five thanks to their 3-1 win away at Leicester City on Friday night.

Wood’s current deal expires at the end of the season, but has he proven a huge figure for the club since Nuওno Espirito Santo took charge.

Now TBR F🃏ootball understands that Forest, who are ready to open talks with Nuno soon, will reward Wood with an extension prior to his deal running out.
Wood has found his home at Forest
Wood has been a revelation since joining Forestཧ in January 2023 on a loan deal from Newcastle United wꦰith £15million obligation to buy.
He has seven goals from nine Premier𒉰 League outings this season,🐭 and his overall Reds tally reads 51 games, 23 goals and one assist.
