Nottingham Forest have secured the signing of ‘fantastic’ player ahead of Premier League rivals

Nottingham Forest have a busy summer ahead of them as they look to bolster their ranks in order to avoid another Premier League relegation battle next term.

Although the Reds will need to be mi🧜ndful of staying on the right side of profit and sustainability rules (PSR), they certainly could do with more incomings to strengthen their squad.

Now, it looks as though Forest are o🥀n the verge of securing a free transfer with considerable Premier League experience that will improve their quality up top.

TBR Football sources have confir𒉰med that Forest are set to secure 🍷the signing of Che Adams.

TBR previously revealed that Wolves were close to finalising a move for the Scottꦆish international.

Now Forest have swooped and are set to conclude a deal for the Southampton forwaꦺrd💙 – who has rejected the chance to extend his stay at St Mary’s.

TBR understands Wolves had agreed initial terms but there we🍷re issues with bonuses and other payments surrounding the🍸 deal which has allowed Forest to take advantage.

Nottingham Forest on verge of Che Adams signing

This 🍷transfer appeared t🔜ouch and go at times, but it looks as though the Reds are about to get a deal over the line.

Adams would be a much-needed reinforcement for Forest, as Taiwo Awoniyi had a dif𝐆ficult 🎐time with injuries last year.

The ‘’ 27-year-old is heading i♊nto his prime as a striker, has a decent goalscoring record, and was born in Leicester, so he could be closer to his family by joining Forest from Southampton.

Adams earned rave reviews from his time at Birmingham City, with former teammates likening him to Brazilian🌠 legend Roꦆnaldo and former England international Jermain Defoe ().

The Scotland int💞ernational registered 17 goals and six assists in 46 appearances across all competitions last season as Southampton made an immediate return to the Premier League.

Hopefully it won’t be long until this deal is fully ov♎er the line and an official announcement is made.
