Nottingham Forest fans react to Joe Worrall’s performance against Fleetwood Town
Nottingham Forest are into the next round of the EFL Cup after a 1-o victory over League One outfit Fleetwood Town.
Tiago Silva got the only goal on the night to set up the tie of the next round, when Forest will host bitter rivals Derby County.
Defender Joe Worrall captained the side on the night, continuing his reintegration into the starting eleven after his loan spell with Rangers last season.
That didn’t go the best but he is back at his club now and took to in the aftermath of the match – and of course a clean sheet – to express his pride in wearing the armband.

Many Forest fans online took to Twitter to hail another strong defensive display from Worrall as well as congratulating him on leading the side.
Worrall will need to produce once more if Forest are to get past Derby later this month, but it’s good to see him continuing his progression and beating the critics.
The supporters were overjoyed with how Worrall played and the start he’s made to the season…
The fact you have played all 3 games so far answers your baffling critics 🙌🏽
Keep going Joe! Great to see a player who cares so much for the club out there on the pitch 👍🏽
