Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has labelled Arsenal a ‘very good team’ but was left frustrated after last night’s defeat.
Arsenal picked up a 2-1 win at the City Ground after goals from Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka. The Gunners completely dominated the game but had struggled to create clear-cut opportunities up until the hour mark.
Jesus had hit the post shortly before beating Matt Turner from a difficult angle to hand Arsenal a deserved lead.
Saka’s neat finish on his weaker foot proved to be enough for Mikel Arteta’s side, despite a late consolation goal from Taiwo Awoniyi.
Nuno Espirito Santo reflected on the defeat after last night’s game and was frustrated due to a lack of possession for his side.

Speaking to , the Forest explained why he believes his side ‘limited’ a very good Arsenal side last night.
But he feels his team didn’t have enough of the ball to cause Arteta’s side real problems.
“We had limited them in their game,” Nuno said. “Very good team, no doubt about it.
“The possession they have and the way they want to build, we are achieving to block them.
“We are disappointed because we wanted to do something more, we wanted a little bit more of the ball.”

It was a dominant performance from the Gunners right up until stoppage time, with Forest’s late goal inspiring a late flurry from Espirito Santo’s side.
Arsenal dominating the ball was no real surprise given the fact that Forest prefer to play on the counter. But the north Londoners also limited Espirito Santo’s men to very few chances in front of goal.
Arteta will be delighted with his side’s displays over the past two games and it would appear that Arsenal are finding their best form once again.
