‘Not for sale’: Arsenal dealt strong hands-off warning by Brentford boss Thomas Frank regarding David Raya
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has made it clear that reported Arsenal transfer target David Raya is not for sale, despite increasing links suggesting he could be on his way to The Emirates this summer.
Arsenal are set to lose Emi Martinez, with Aston Villa and Brighton closing in on a move for the talented Argentine.
With that in mind, the Gunners are looking for competition to current number one Bernd Leno. Raya could even hand in a transfer request to try and force a move to The Emirates.

However, the Brentford boss made it clear in that, other than the already departed Ollie Watkins and Premier League target Said Benrahma, nobody at the club is currently for sale.
“I said one week ago that if the price is right for Ollie Watkins or Said Benrahma, we are open, because that’s the way football works,” Frank stated. “The rest are not for sale.
“I would like to repeat myself. If the price is right for Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, then they are for sale. The rest are not for sale.”
Arsenal will still be hopeful they can change the minds of Brentford, especially with all reports suggesting the Spaniard is keen on the move.
But, it seems any deal would be verging on the expensive side and Arsenal will be wanting to spend as little as possible when bringing in a likely alternative goalkeeper option.
Arsenal may have to start considering other, more available options, to act as the back up to Leno this summer.
