Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has delivered some good news to fans following the injury Eric Dier suffered recently.

However, the Spurs boss has reassured fans by confirming it’s not a serious injury.

Antonio Conte: Eric Dier will return from injury in one week

Speaking exclusively to the , Conte revealed that Dier could be back as early as in five days.

The Spurs boss said: “Dier’s problem is not a serious problem.

“He had the same problem three weeks ago. It’s not a serious one, but you know very well when you have the same injury in the same place, you have to take care and be careful about these things.

“But, I hope to see him very soon, in five days or one week maximum.”

That is a massive relief for Tottenham fans.

Christian Romero is back from injury and he will be a regular starter for Spurs, but the issue is who starts alongside him

Davinson Sanchez is a decent player and he has improved since Conte’s arrival. However, he is not as reliable as Dier, who has performed really well for Tottenham this season.

Conte’s comments tell us that Dier will miss the game against Wolves as well, but he should be back and raring to go when Tottenham go to the Etihad to take on Manchester City next week.
