Noni Madueke showing Tottenham what they are missing with exceptional PSV form

Plenty of top young talents come through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and, inevitably, the club will occasionally let one slip through the net.

Indeed, a lot of Tottenham fans were concerned about that very fact when the club lost Noni Madueke to PSV Eindhoven.

The youngster decided to leave Spurs in 2018 and head to Holland with the hope he would find a route to more regular first-team football in the Netherlands.

That move has certainly been justified in the early stages of the season.

The England under-18 star has cemented himself a place in the PSV first-team so far this term.

The 18-year-old scored twice against ADO Den Haag in PSV’s last outing in the Dutch top-flight to take his tally for the season to four goals this season. That goes alongside his four assists this term from just 12 appearances.

Now, the teenager is the subject of an international tug-of-war between England and Nigeria for his services and Tottenham will no doubt be disappointed that he is no longer a part of their system considering his growth and what is likely now a handsome price-tag that he must command.

But whilst Tottenham fans will be disappointed, it is unlikely anyone will begrudge him any success away from the club.
