‘No way’: Tottenham fans react to what Ryan Mason posted on Instagram late last night

Tottenham Hotspur fans can’t believe that Ryan Mason opted to post a picture of the training ground with a ‘see you in the morning’ caption on his Instagram late last night. 

All about the timing…

Mason may simply have been excited about turning up to work later today, but the timing of the post was not exactly ideal.

The day had been spent with many Tottenham fans calling for Nuno to be sacked after their 3-1 defeat in the North London derby.

that Nuno was at risk of being dumped by Tottenham, due to their terrible performance at the Emirates Stadium.

Mason, of course, was in temporary charge of Tottenham when Jose Mourinho departed – and would be the most likely candidate to take over from Nuno on an interim basis, if he was to go.

And Tottenham fans couldn’t help but laugh at the post made by their youth team manager. 

Nuno under pressure at Tottenham

Despite the Instagram post, it seems that Nuno won’t be going anywhere for the time being.

It seems unlikely that Nuno will be in immediate danger of being sacked, given it is so early in his reign.

However, Tottenham results and performances are going to have to improve if the Portuguese boss is to turn things around.

Spurs have scored just four goals from their first six Premier League matches and have now been heavily beaten in their last three outings.

Tottenham’s next match comes against Aston Villa, in what could be yet another tough test.
