‘No thanks’: Some Spurs fans fume as club are linked with ace who is ‘no better than Chris Wood’
Tottenham are reportedly interested in Benfica striker Haris Seferovic according to news from Portgual.
As , the north London side are keen on the 29-year-old striker. Seferovic has been a star player for Switzerland this summer, scoring three goals in Euro 2020.
Indeed, Tottenham could sign a striker this summer. As , Harry Kane wants to leave the club. Spurs finished seventh in the Premier League last season and lost the League Cup final to Manchester City.
Although Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici has stated his intent to keep Kane at the north London club this summer, a big-money offer could tempt Spurs into selling the striker.
Despite Seferovic impressing for Switzerland this summer, lots of Tottenham fans on social media aren’t keen on the striker.
However, Tottenham have already done business with Benfica in the past 12 months, with the club sign Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan deal. Moreover, the Brazilian striker scored ten goals in all competitions for the north London side.

If you are a decent striker you will always score a load of goals for Benfica. Why have we hardly heard of him until recently guessing because he was not very prolific elsewhere. Probably no better than a Chris Wood.
