‘No limits’: QPR boss Mark Warburton raves about Spurs target Eberechi Eze
Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Warburton has raved about “talented boy” Eberechi Eze after his performance at the weekend.
Eze scored twice as QPR beat Preston North End 2-0. This took his tally to nine goals in 20 Championship matches this season and he also has four assists to his name.
Warburton rates Eze highly and he might face a battle to hold onto him in the January window. Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs reportedly keen, although Mauricio Pochettino’s exit could stop this move.
But the latest comments from Warburton show just how highly he rates Eze. The 21-year-old is tipped for a bright future by the QPR gaffer.
Warburton on Eze

After the game, : “There are no limits for Eze. It is down to him and how hard he works. He is a tremendous talent, I want him to enjoy his football and he has got to understand how much hard work is required to maximise the talent that he has.
“You see Eze’s quality with the ball and I want to keep working on his quality without the ball. To play at the very highest level, you have to make sure you have that. He is a talented boy, is playing exceptionally well for us, scoring goals and I hope very much that he is playing with a smile on his face.”
TBR’s view
Eze has so much natural talent and he can go to the top if he applies himself. With class on the ball, he is able to beat defenders with ease and contribute with goals and assists.
Tottenham have missed out on James Maddison in the past because they decided to ignore the Championship market. Perhaps Eze might be worth the risk.
