‘No’: Ally McCoist says £130k-a-week Tottenham Hotspur target wouldn’t get into their starting line-up
Ally McCoist has claimed that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha wouldn’t get into Tottenham Hotspur’s first team.
Zaha has had a great start to the season at Palace, and already has five goals and an assist.
Palace had had an up-and-down start to the season, but currently find themselves safely in mid-table.
However, Zaha’s future is one of the biggest talking points at Crystal Palace right now.
contract runs out in the summer, and plenty of clubs are sniffing around the 29-year-old.

believes that Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Zaha and Arsenal could make a bid in January.
Liverpool are also fans of Zaha and could make a move when his contract expires in the summer.
David Ornstein has suggested that Tottenham could make a move for Zaha, but McCoist has now said he wouldn’t get in their first team.
Spurs fans would have loved to have had Zaha in the last month, after injuries to Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison.
Zaha’s known for his direct and skilful approach on the ball, but he’s also a superb passer in the final third.
Zaha wouldn’t get in Tottenham’s first team – McCoist
“Are you kidding me? On current form he’s (Zaha) walking into the Chelsea team,”
“There’s an argument, I know that Richarlison and Kulusevski are injured, he could play in the Spurs side.”
McCoist was then asked if he would get into Tottenham’s team if Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Kulusevski are starting, and he replies, “No.”
Tottenham certainly need more reinforcements in attacking areas.

Antonio Conte doesn’t appear to trust Bryan Gil and Lucas Moura is past his prime.
Spurs have switched to a different formation without Kulusevski and Richarlison, however it’s certainly not been as effective.
Crystal Palace fans will insist that Zaha is definitely good enough to play for Spurs.
McCoist appears to still need some convincing though, and doesn’t think Zaha gets in Tottenham’s team.
