‘Nice to see’: Gilberto Silva applauds Arsenal duo after 4-2 win over Leeds
Arsenal defeated Leeds United 4-2 at the Emirates Stadium yesterday, ending a run of two straight defeats for the Gunners. After the game, Gilberto Silva took to Twitter to rave about the performance of two players.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang enjoyed a standout return to the team with a superb hat-trick, with Hector Bellerin scoring the other goal for the Gunners.

Leeds rallied during the second 45 and didn’t change their attacking mindset. Arsenal stood firm though to put defeats to Wolves and Aston Villa firmly behind them.
Mikel Arteta will still have aspirations of earning a place in Europe next season and results of this nature will certainly help.
Following yesterday’s game, Silva took to Twitter to speak about the two goalscorers, stating that it was nice to see Bellerin among the goals.
What a great result. Hat-trick for @Aubameyang7 and nice to see get a goal. Come on Arsenal 💪🏾

Bellerin is a bizarre one at Arsenal and after spending some time out injured it was feared he wouldn’t return as the same player.
He has also been linked with a move away from the Gunners on more than once occasion, with plenty of questions asked over his future in the past.
This season though, the Spaniard has knuckled down and forced Arteta into utilising him as his first-choice right-back in the team.

Bellerin, 25, has started all but three Premier League games for Arsenal this season and has even captained the side on a few occasions.
Quality
Arteta clearly fancies the defender as an instrumental member of his team and his goal yesterday was, as Silva suggests, good to see.
The player has served Arsenal with distinction, playing 229 games for the North Londoners.
He’s under contract until 2023 at the Emirates Stadium and on current form, the concept of him earning an extension shouldn’t be discounted.
