Next Crystal Palace manager: Eagles reportedly eye 63-year-old
Crystal Palace are hoping to hold talks with Lucien Favre as the Eagles continue their search for Roy Hodgson’s successor as their next manager, .
Palace are still yet to replace Hodgson, who left at the end of last season.

As noted by The Sun, they were heavily linked with Nuno Espirito Santo. However, talks ultimately came to nothing.
, Steve Parish is no longer interested in Valerian Ismael, Steve Cooper or Frank Lampard.
However, he is keen on Favre. And according to The Sun, Palace are looking to speak with the 63-year-old about potentially taking over at Selhurst Park.

Encouragingly, The Sun claims that Favre is keen on a move to the Premier League.
The Swiss is a free agent after leaving Borussia Dortmund in 2020. He did help Dortmund win the German Cup in 2019.
Favre has also never had a win percentage of less than 40 percent at any of his previous clubs. At Dortmund, he won 68 of his 110 games in charge.
Favre an unknown quantity in Premier League, but offers the kind of experience Crystal Palace may need in next manager
Of course, Palace fans may be wary of seeing the club appoint a manager with no Premier League experience.
Hodgson’s arrival came after Frank De Boer endured a miserable start to his tenure.
But Favre is hugely experienced. And he has managed in a number of countries. So he arguably stands a good chance of adapting to the Premier League.
Palace have a number of big decisions to make over the coming months in regards to their playing squad.
Rolling the dice and picking a younger, perhaps more exciting name could prove a masterstroke. However, Favre may represent a safer pair of hands as they transition out of Hodgson’s superb tenure.
