Newcastle ‘very serious’ about signing the new Sergio Ramos, PIF have the funds – report
Newcastle United look set to make their first signing by bringing Kieran Trippier to St James’ Park.
However, the Magpies are likely to make multiple signings in the January transfer window.

According to , the Tyneside outfit is up against Inter Milan and Bayern Munich for the services of Matthias Ginter.
Recently, Borussia Monchengladbach announced that Ginter would be leaving the club in June when his contract expires.
The 27-year-old will move on in 2022, but it remains to be seen whether Gladbach could cash in on him this month.

German football icon Lothar Matthaus, who won the Ballon d’Or in 1990, knows a good player when he sees one.
The World Cup winner is a big fan of Ginter and has even compared him to Sergio Ramos.
Matthaus told Sport BILD, via : “Ginter has become a leader at the back, in a similar way to Ramos at Real.
“He doesn’t just give instructions to his teammates, but leads them as well.
“That’s what Ginter is doing really well at the moment. He reminds me of Ramos.”
