Newcastle could go to the next level with ambitious swoop on Tottenham
Danny Rose is set to be allowed to leave Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window and he’d be perfect for Newcastle United.
The England left-back has actually been regular for Spurs this season. It would appear that boss Jose Mourinho has other ideas though.
Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Rose, with his days at the club looking increasingly numbered.

The 29-year-old has played 10 games for the club during 2019/20 but has only featured in three of Mourinho’s six games in charge.
The Portuguese boss wants to streamline his squad and that means Rose is seemingly surplus.
Jetro Willems was added to Newcastle’s ranks during the summer but Rose’s ability could take the Magpies to the next level.
The arrival of the man with 29 England caps would add some real quality to Bruce’s defensive unit.
Over the years Rose has proved a dependable full-back and his ability has been recognised at both ends of the pitch.
Newcastle are tenth in the Premier League and they no longer need to be that team shopping around for bargain-basement signings.

Rose is paid £60,000-a-week at Tottenham and that should fit in pretty nicely with Newcastle’s pay structure.
He is out of contract in 2021 and Spurs holding a desire to get him offloaded could work in the favour of the Magpies.
Rose on his day is still considered a very decent full-back and Newcastle would be wise to test the water with a January bid.
