Newcastle-supporting pundit ‘petrified’ Toon will lose 24-year-old, suggests Everton and Spurs as possible move

that Tottenham and Everton should be looking to sign Newcastle attacker Allan Saint-Maximin.

Saint-Maximin, 24, has been excellent for Newcastle during this season’s early stages. But the Frenchman’s teammates are not matching his form.

As he eyes a place in France’s World Cup squad, the attacker has produced five goal involvements in six league games. Scoring two, and creating three.

The Frenchman is already outperforming the rest of Steve Bruce’s side, and easily showing the necessary quality to go on and shine for a bigger club.

Hutchison, a Newcastle fan, labelled himself as “petrified” over losing Saint-Maximin soon. He suggested Tottenham and Everton should look at him.

“I feel for Saint-Maximin. On a serious note, as a Newcastle fan, I am petrified we’re going to lose him,”

“He is far too good for us. Incredible player. He’s the type of player Tottenham should be looking at, or Everton. He’s better than us.”

Hutchison on Saint Maximin: Tottenham or Everton?

Everton are currently being managed by ex-Toon manager Rafa Benitez and it would be an enormous blow to Newcastle fans if he went there.

Not only would Everton boast the manager that Newcastle fans love, but their current prized possession in Saint-Maximin. Do Everton need him?

Andros Townsend, another ex-Toon star, is shining in Everton colours while Demarai Gray – a £1.5million signing from Leverkusen – has been excellent.

Tottenham also have options in Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn, Son Heung-min and others. But £70m-rated () Saint-Maximin improves either side.

He would also provide cover up top, with Tottenham more in need of a striker than Everton – since Salomon Rondon joined the Toffees.
