Newcastle supporters react as report claims Saint-Maximin growing frustrated

Allan Saint-Maximin is reportedly growing frustrated at Newcastle United with no talks staged over improving his current contract – and many Toon fans have responded to the reports.

Saint-Maximin, 23, only joined Newcastle last summer from OGC Nice for a fee of £16million. He has since starred for the Toon, having a hand in 11 goals in 25 league and cup appearances. Scoring four, he has created seven.

Since returning from the global health crisis, the stronger Saint-Maximin has scored in a 3-0 win over Sheffield United before creating three of Newcastle’s four goals against AFC Bournemouth last time out.

, though, has delivered some bad news for Newcastle supporters. Craig Hope of the Mail claims that Saint-Maximin is growing frustrated on Tyneside, as he continues to remain on his £36,000-a-week contract.

Indeed, Saint-Maximin is frustrated at other teammates earning a lot more money than he is – but some are struggling to get into the Newcastle side, while others are failing to have the same kind of impact as the Frenchman.

Saint-Maximin is believed to have been surprised that there is a lack of action being taken over a new deal. Newcastle fans reacted on Twitter to the news that their fan favourite is frustrated, and ordered the club to renew his contract.
