Newcastle should consider Fikayo Tomori after Rob Holding failure
Newcastle United could let Florian Lejeune leave the club on loan this window.
, the Frenchman is the subject of interest from Deportivo Alaves and Steve Bruce could sanction a temporary switch.

The 29-year-old has been plagued by injury since joining the club in 2017, and it is thought this could be a chance for him to rediscover his best form.
In the eyes of many supporters, Lejeune is the Magpies’ best defender when everybody is fully fit.
It would appear Bruce is keen for an addition at the back.

It was thought Rob Holding would join the club on loan but Arsenal and Mikel Arteta appear to have U-turned on the decision.
One man who could be worth looking at for Newcastle following the blow is Chelsea’s Fikayo Tomori.
Reports had been linking him with a move to Everton, but Frank Lampard has today denied a move is in the imminent ().
TBR’s View – Tomori would be a brilliant Newcastle addition
There were times last season when Tomori was undoubtedly Chelsea’s best defender.

He lost his starting berth towards the end of the season, which was arguably a harsh call from Lampard.
If Tomori is available then Newcastle should be all over it – he’s young, he’s strong and he’s quick across the turf, making him a nice alternative to the other options.
