Newcastle should be thrilled if they sign striker target Sebastien Haller

But the latest report indicates that the North East club may finally inject some cash to help Benitez in January.
, Benitez is hopeful that Newcastle will break their transfer record in the New Year and he’s identified Eintracht Frankfurt centre-forward Sebastien Haller as his primary target.

It is understood the Premier League side have already scouted the Bundesliga striker and he will be the number one target.
Haller is a 6ft 2in attacker that can lead the line by himself effectively and is the type of high-profile signing that would give Newcastle fans a reason to be delighted.
The 24-year-old Frenchman has started this campaign in brilliant, making 14 appearances across all competitions for Eintracht.
He has already scored seven goals and supplied seven assists, which has included some impressive displays in the Europa League.
Newcastle are crying out for a prolific striker to spearhead the attack and Haller fits the bill, as somebody that could guide them to Premier League safety with his goals.
