Newcastle now working on loaning out ‘superb’ 28-year-old player, Eddie Howe doesn’t want him
Newcastle United are reportedly working to loan out Isaac Hayden, with Eddie Howe eager to offload the 28-year-old midfielder.
The former Arsenal academy graduate spent the first half of the season out on loan with Belgian giants Standard Liege, where Hayden made 11 appearances in all competitions.
Yet with Newcastle’s injury crisis not getting any better, the decision was made to recall Hayden this January, though it appears that Hayden won’t get a chance to revive his career at St. James’ Park.
, Newcastle are already at work on loaning out Hayden to a Championship club, with any deal including an option to sign the midfielder permanently.

Yet if the Toon can arrange a deal with a Championship club in the coming weeks, a transfer would suit all parties, with Hayden more than good enough to flourish in England’s second-tier.

Having not played for Newcastle for the last two seasons, Hayden is fully aware that he needs to leave the Magpies if he is to get something more out of his career.
Yet this latest update provides some hope that Hayden can do just that in the Championship, where the midfielder has proven he can be quite the asset.
Indeed, Hayden has shown with the likes of Newcastle, Hull City and Norwich City that he can be a useful operator in the Championship, and a move this January would be best for everyone.
