Newcastle landing Bolasie on loan would surely end Murphy’s Magpies career
Everton outcast Yannick Bolasie has told the club that he wants to leave the club on loan before the January transfer window slams shut,
The former Crystal Palace ace spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship play-off chasers Aston Villa, but cut that spell short to return to the big time, and Newcastle are interested in his services.
But the Magpies face stiff competition from across the Premier League, with Burnley and Cardiff interested – as well as Palace being keen on engineering a return to Selhurst Park.
Bolasie’s destination could have a big hand in deciding the relegation battle and Rafa Benitez is desperate for fresh blood to reinvigorate his side’s bid for survival.

Benitez’s side is sorely lacking creativity and one man who has failed to provide it since arriving at St James’ Park is Englishman Jacob Murphy.
The former Norwich speedster has been the subject of interest from Championship title hopefuls West Brom, but there has been little movement on that score while Benitez has been unable to secure new blood.
But if Bolasie did come to the north east, Murphy could expect to see his loan to the Hawthorns rubber-stamped, allowing him to rediscover his form and confidence.
