Newcastle join Arsenal in race for midfielder Klopp called ‘wonderful’ – report
Newcastle United and Arsenal could be locking horns to sign Georginio Wijnaldum on loan in January.
The Magpies and the Gunners were both linked with the Netherlands international in recent days.
reported that Paris Saint-Germain are willing to listen to loan offers for Wijnaldum.

They claimed Arsenal are a potential suitor for the former Liverpool star’s services.
In a further boost, Wijnaldum is seemingly open to a Premier League return.
Meanwhile, Spanish outlet reported that Newcastle were the “first team to show interest” in the midfielder.
Indeed, they claimed the Magpies have been in contact with the 31-year-old’s camp to register their interest.
Wijnaldum joined PSG from Anfield on a free transfer last summer, reportedly penning a £165,000-a-week contract.
However, the Dutchman has failed to establish himself in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
Across his 20 appearances for the French side this season, Wijnaldum has made just 10 starts.
The former PSV and Feyenoord ace will be well known to Premier League fans.
Wijnaldum spent one season at Newcastle before joining Liverpool in 2016.

At Anfield, he became integral under Jurgen Klopp and helped the Reds to trophy glory.
Wijnaldum played a huge part in winning the Champions League in 2019 and Premier League in 2020.
Jurgen Klopp paid tribute to the player when he left Liverpool, as a “wonderful” player.
