Newcastle in talks over Elliot Anderson trade deal for ‘absolutely brilliant’ player from Premier League rivals

Newcastle United are looking to get their summer transfer market up and running as they await their first real purchase of the summer.

Lloyd Kelly has already come through the doors at St James’ Park and Lewis Hall‘s stay has been made permanent.

However, Newcastle are yet to spend any money on any new faces this summer as Eddie Howeཧ looks to bolster his squad for the upcoming campaign.

It has been a busy month on Tyneside with Newcastle one of the clubs needing to hit the PSR deadli🀅ne this weekend.

Player sales are going to be key to the𝓰 Magpies landing the right side o♔f the financial regulations.

They could now finꦜd themselves doing business with another side who has found themselves in the same position when it comes to PSR this month.

Newcastle eyeing trade deal with Nottingham Forest

Trade deals have looked to be the way forward this month for clubs being affected by theꦜ PSR deadline.

Newcastle have already been in talks with Everton over respective deals for Dominic Ca🔯lvert-Lewin and Yankuba Minteh.

Although a deal has seemingly fallen through between the two sides, it just goes to show the thinking behind🐷 the scenes at these clubs.

According to Craig Hope, Newcastle are in talks with Nottingham Forest over a potential deal for their winger Anthony Elanga.

However, it is a deal which could see Newcastle graduate Elliot Anderson go the other way in a deal to the City Ground.

Elanga only j♛oined Forest last summer in🌜 a deal believed to be worth in the region of £15m from Manchester United.

But a return of five൩ goals and nine assists in ꦍthe Premier League alone has caught the attention of the Toon Army.

Newcastle could land ‘absolutely brilliant’ player in Anthony Elanga

Options in attack are being💦 eyed by Newcastle this summer despite bein🍌g pressed by the PSR deadline this month.

The winger proved to be a seriously goo🍃d buy for Forest and he was hailed as “absolutely brilliant” by Steve Hod𒐪ge on .

However, it seems a deal to bring in the Sweden internationa๊l would also require losing one🐎 of their homegrown players in Anderson.

The 21-year-old only managed to make 10 Premier League starts last season and if Newcastle are going to progress they may need to be ruthless in their d✨ecision making.

Elanga has shown he is capable of providing double digit contributions in the Premier League, whereas Anderson is still aiming to break into the ❀squad on a regular basis.
