Newcastle United have reportedly made a bid to sign Swedish wonderkid Lucas Bergvall, with FC Barcelona also chasing the midfielder.
The 17-year-old Djurgardens IF sensation has been one of the breakout teenagers in Europe in the last 12 months, with Bergvall one of the best players in last season’s Allsvenskan.
Making 29 appearances in all competitions, Bergvall has established himself as one of Scandinavia’s most exciting prospects, and Newcastle are now believed to be working on a deal for the youngster.
