Newcastle have just been offered a chance to sign £82m Manchester United player in shock deal

Just 11 players have played for both Newcastle United and Manchester United in the history of the Premier League.

The likes of Andy Cole and Nicky Butt are arguably the mos꧂t successful of the list, while there have been a few for whom things haven’t worked out at either club – Giuseppe Rossi springs to mind.

Martin Dubravka was the latest to d🌱on the colours of both clubs. The Slovakia international spent a few months on loan at Old Trafford in the 2022/23 campaign.

Now, Newcastle have the chance to sign a player from Manchester United in this month’s transfer window.

Manchester United winger Antony has been offered to Newcastle

Manchester United signed Antony from Ajax fo🌜r an initial fee of £82 million in the summer of 2022 ().

The Brazilian was viewed by many as a great🤪 signing becau𓆉se he had delivered brilliant numbers under Erik ten Hag when they were together in the Netherlands.

Antony scored on his Premier League debut against Arsenal and then found♑ the net in each of his next two league games as well, against Manchester City and Everton.

At the time, it looked like he w🐠as going to be a success at Old Trafford, but United fans will tell you now that he has been 💃one of the most disappointing signings in the history of the club.

have revealed that Manchester United are ready to part ways with Antony and in what 𓃲is a big shock, Newcastle United are among the clubs🌟 who have been offered a chance to sign him.

Ajax, Juventus and Benfica are the others, while La Liga ꦦside Real Betis have made a𒀰n offer to sign the winger on loan. But, that deal is subject to United paying a part of his wages.

It’s unclear if Newcastle are interested in purs🅷uing a mo🌳ve for Antony in the coming weeks.

Should Newcastle United sign Antony?

Newcastle shouldn’t go anywhere near Antony.

The Brazilian did w🍌ell during his time at Ajax, but his performances since joining Manchester United two-and-a-half years ago have been a disaster.

Newcastle could do with a new𒀰 attacker in this window, but signing Antony – even on a loan deal – makes abs♚olutely no sense.

He j🦂ust hasn🍸’t done enough to prove that he can deliver in the Premier League.

We think Newcastle are better off holding onto Miguel Almiron than signing Anton🧔y from Manchester United in the coming weeks.
