Newcastle fans react on Twitter to Sean Dyche reports
A number of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to linking Sean Dyche with the St James’ Park post.
Steve Bruce is coming under increasing pressure amongst supporters. The Magpies are edging closer and closer to the bottom three in the Premier League.
Despite not overseeing a win in their last six however, Bruce looks set to stay put. , Mike Ashley remains convinced that he is the right man to lead them to safety.
But it appears that other managers are taking note of what is going on on Tyneside. And Eurosport claims that Dyche, along with Chris Wilder, would find himself in the frame if a change was made.
Dyche has done a remarkable job at Burnley. They are seven points clear of the bottom three. And he has hardly been able to open the chequebook. In fact, he saw one of his players jump ship to Newcastle last summer when Jeff Hendrick’s deal expired.
The reports have attracted an interesting response. Sadly, you get a real sense of the desperation Newcastle fans are feeling with many suggesting that any appointment would be a step in the right direction right now.
But those who are more enthusiastic believe Dyche would be a very good choice. He has done superbly at Turf Moor, and some think that he would restore some of the pride in the team.
