Newcastle fans react on Twitter as Magpies reportedly join Ebere Eze race
Once again, Newcastle United fans have to deal with a summer of uncertainty as they await to see what comes of the latest round of takeover talk.
It remains to be seen how the rumours impact Steve Bruce’s ability to act in the transfer market. But, perhaps encouragingly, the Magpies continue to be linked with potential targets.

that Newcastle are one of the clubs interested in signing Ebere Eze from Queens Park Rangers this summer.
that QPR are resigned to losing Eze during this window. that Mark Warburton’s men will be looking for around £20 million for Eze.

Admittedly, there are some Newcastle fans on social media who believe that QPR’s asking price will rule them out of the running.
‘Pay whatever it takes’
Of course, while the links with players may be encouraging in some respects, the supporters are well within their right to argue that they only increase the frustration should their reported targets head elsewhere.
Some clearly fear that that could prove to be the case with Eze. But plenty have also suggested that the 22-year-old would be an outstanding addition to Bruce’s ranks.
He scored 14 times from attacking midfield this past season. He also provided eight assists. So it is little surprise that a number of the Newcastle supporters have expressed a hope that they can compete with his fellow admirers for his signature.
Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
I’d definitely take him Great young player.
