Newcastle fans react as Rolando Aarons will reportedly join Huddersfield
Newcastle United will reportedly sell attacker Rolando Aarons – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have responded by insisting that his exit is long overdue.
the 25-year-old is set to depart St James’ Park in the January transfer window and will be the first departure from the club this month, with the club potentially looking at offloading several players.
It is explained that Magpies boss Steve Bruce wants to try raise funds in the window by selling players and Aarons is someone that has been frozen out of the first-team squad this year.
The report claims that Championship side Huddersfield Town are close to signing the winger after showing interest in him in the summer, with talks now at an “advanced stage”.
Aarons, who hasn’t played a single first-team minute this season, appears to have played his last game for Newcastle.
The skilful wide player has played 27 senior games since coming through the academy with the Toon, but has spent a lot of time in recent years out on loan with a spate of different clubs.

A selection of Newcastle supporters on social media believe that Aarons leaving makes sense. The speedster promised so much when he broke through as a youngster, but it’s never quite happened for him at St James’ Park.
Here are some Newcastle fans discussing the Aaron speculation:

Very good move for him imo. Had very high hopes for him especially going into the Championship season when he signed a five-year contract. Huge shame it hasn't worked out.

That’s a good move considering he failed at Wycombe and Motherwell on loan, anyways good luck to him

What happened that lad, seemed to be all going for him. I know injury’s happened. But maybe more to it.
