Newcastle fans react as Neil Redfearn ‘walks out’ on U23s
Some Newcastle United fans have given their take on social media, after reports emerged that U23s coach Neil Redfearn has walked out.
, the 54-year-old was ‘furious’ after his younger assistant Liam Bramley apparently complained about him to head of academy coaching Ben Dawson.

A meeting was supposedly held last week in order to find a resolution to the issue and ease tension, but it was unsuccessful.
Redfearn was only appointed U23s manager back in June.
He did not take charge of the side for Monday’s game with Aston Villa, and Newcastle or Redfearn are yet to comment on the situation.
Newcastle fans react
Many Newcastle fans provided fairly cynical reactions to the news on social media.

Newcastle are no strangers to surprise situations emerging out of the blue, and a lot supporters are simply tired of things happening behind the scenes:
I shall file this under stories I don’t care about.

What infuriated me when reading the article is that the club have “declined to comment” Why is that not surprising?! The lack of communication with supporters as well as the media has been a disgrace for 12 years.
The Beardsley incident was handled terribly as well.

Plus he was another Mike Ashley puppet— jonny ward (@wardy22589)
Good. I think he’s terrible for the U23’s. Should put him (forgotten his name) who was temporarily in charge when Beardsley got suspended in to take over.
