Newcastle fans react as Huddersfield reportedly holds talks for Rolando Aarons

Newcastle United’s Rolando Aarons is being linked with an exit – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have reacted to the speculation by claiming it would be good for all parties involved.

The 24-year-old made his Magpies debut back in 2014 after being promoted from the academy, but he’s had some horrid luck with injuries and also spent the past couple of years out on loan at a number of different clubs.

, Newcastle have held talks with Championship club Huddersfield Town about the potential sale of the attacker.

The report claims that Steve Bruce’s side are “keen” to cash in on the winger, as his contract is expiring at the end of the season.

With the EFL transfer window shutting on Friday, Aarons doesn’t have long to complete a move away from St James’ Park this campaign.

A selection of Newcastle supporters on social media have responded to the speculation and the overriding feeling is that they will be happy for Aarons to depart, but are keen for him to enjoy success elsewhere.

The English speedster has played just 27 games across all competitions for the Magpies and he needs to try carve out a career with another team.

He’s a talented individual that has shown in glimpses his ability, but unfortunately there is so much talent right now in wide areas in Bruce’s squad.
