Newcastle fans react as club reportedly eye France international Adrien Rabiot
Newcastle United are the latest club to be linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer as the France international looks for a way out of Turin – and Toon supporters have reacted on Twitter.
An impending takeover of Newcastle is reportedly close to completion and as with any takeover, numerous big-name players have been linked with a move to the Tyneside club – including Edinson Cavani, Philippe Coutinho and Gareth Bale.
Indeed, a recent report from Italian outlet that Newcastle were monitoring the situations surrounding three Juventus players in the form of Douglas Costa, Aaron Ramsey and indeed midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Since then, Newcastle have made an offer to sign 25-year-old Rabiot – one that eclipses his current £120,000-a-week wages. But they are not alone in their interest, with Manchester United and Everton also keen.
Newcastle have plenty of options in the middle of the park, in the form of Isaac Hayden, Jonjo Shelvey, Nabil Bentaleb and the Longstaff brothers. But a contract is yet to be sorted for Matty, while Bentaleb is only on loan.
A midfielder could be needed this summer, then, and Rabiot could be a contender given Juventus may only want as much as £26.7million – as per the report. Newcastle fans reacted, but cannot agree whether it would be a good move.
Terrible attitude though

I would rather have Aaron Ramsey. Proven in the Premier League. I liked the Ramsey link better.
