Newcastle can get over January disappointment with signing of Geoffrey Kondogbia
La Liga outfit Valencia have told Geoffrey Kondogbia that he can leave the club this summer and Newcastle United should be all over the news.

Moving for Kondogbia would help Steve Bruce get over that disappointment and bolster his midfield ranks considerably.

The Magpies could do with some genuine steel in the middle of the park and Kondogbia would be an ideal recruit.
With Valencia owner Peter Lim keen to offload the trio, Newcastle should get the 27-year-old for a reasonable price.

Compared with Jonjo Shelvey who currently plays in a similar role, Kondogbia blows him out of the water.

Of course, there is an argument that Kondogbia and Shelvey are slightly different in their styles but nonetheless it highlights the quality he’d bring.

Following the pending takeover Newcastle’s budget is likely to be extensive.
Adding players like Kondogbia can help him achieve his goals of taking Newcastle up the Premier League.
The three-time Central African Republic international has played for some of Europe’s top clubs and that makes him a born winner.
His experience would be ideal in a relatively young Newcastle dressing room and as a result, Bruce would finally land his midfield enforcer.
