Newcastle are absolutely ecstatic with two signings they have made since PIF took over

Newcastle United haven’t quite been as frivolous in the transfer market as people expected when they became the richest club in the world a few years ago.

Indeed, while there was talk of Kylian Mbappe signing for Newcastle when the Saudis took over at St James’ Park, the Magpies’ transfer business has been more low-key than expected.

However, when Newcastle have decided to go big in the window, they’ve hit a home run almost every single time.

Alexander Isak is now valued at £200m, Bruno Guimaraes is the club captain and an absolute star, while Sandro Tonali is improving every single time he steps onto the pitch.

Speaking on NUFC Matters, Ben Jacobs has been discussing two more PIF signings that Newcastle are over the moon with.

Newcastle over the moon with Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento

Jacobs says that Newcastle are really delighted with the signings of Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento.

Both players have become really important figures for Newcastle this season, earning their roles as the two starting full-backs for Eddie Howe’s side.

The journalist says that the Magpies are buzzing with how both players are developing, and that Matt Targett is now more and more unlikely to get minutes.

“I can tell you that Newcastle are just really delighted with the signing now of Lewis Hall and how he’s developing. They are equally as ecstatic about Livramento, so it will be tough for Matt Targett to get any minutes,”

Newcastle’s young stars

Newcastle may be challenging for a place in next season’s Champions League right now, but the future looks very bright at St James’ Park.

Indeed, while Newcastle are likely to keep spending and signing more exciting players who are ready to go straight into the team, they also have a number of youngsters who will only grow and grow.

Hall and Livramento are already first-team stars, Lewis Miley has been tipped for big things, while William Osula looks like he could grow to become a top player too.

On top of that, Trevan Sanusi sounds like a very exciting young talent, while Garang Kuol has a lot of potential too.

Newcastle United are one of the best teams in England right now, winning nine of their last 10 matches, but, if they continue recruiting and developing young players in this way, it may not be long before the Magpies are genuine contenders at the top level.
