Napoli star Allan would be an ideal signing for Arsenal

, midfielder Allan is one of several players that could be heading for the exit at Napoli – and Arsenal should be primed to take advantage.

The club are in turmoil at the moment, with president Aurelio De Laurentiis and the players at war after they reportedly ignored his orders to attend a training camp ().

Some of the ultras have taken the law into their own hands and the wives of Piotr Zielinski and Lorenzo Insigne have flown to be with family amid fears for their safety.

Brazilian Allan actually had his home broken into, which terrified his wife Thais who is seven months pregnant.

The Mail say the South American is the most likely player to leave in January, and would cost in the region of £30 million to sign – and perhaps Arsenal should be considering an approach.

TBR’s view – Allan would be a brilliant Arsenal signing

Allan has been with Napoli since joining from Udinese in 2015, and has developed into one of Serie A’s most well-rounded midfielders.

The 28-year-old is extremely tenacious and has a fantastic engine.

While he is lauded mainly for his defensive attributes, Allan is also very handy in possession and has underrated technical skills.

Arsenal may lose Lucas Torreira in January with the Uruguyan supposedly unhappy with his current role at the Emirates, and Allan would be a fantastic replacement.
