‘My worry’… Gary Neville names the two Arsenal players who he’s really concerned about now
Gary Neville has now expressed his concern over the capabilities of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah to lead Arsenal to a title this season.
Neville was speaking on ‘’ and was discussing Arsenal’s chances of winning the league.

And whilst he did think Arsenal can go on to lift the title, Neville had concerns over both Jesus and Nketiah.
The pundit thought that Mikel Arteta’s team still lacked a first choice striker required of a team challenging for such honours.
: “I think that Arsenal can win the league this season.
“Despite starting slow, the football will come, the football that we saw from them last season.
“The fact that they’ve started a little bit slower, I never think is a bad thing, they’re sat there in the pack behind [top].
“My worry with Arsenal is a centre-forward, I like [Gabriel] Jesus and [Eddie] Nketiah but for me they are a number two and three, they need a number one.
“But I do think that when the football comes, and it could come after Christmas at March which is the right time, they could be the opposite of last season – a bit of a slow start and stronger finish.”
Neville thinks Arsenal still need an upgrade on Jesus and Nketiah
Of course, this is a debate that constantly follows this Arsenal team.
Ivan Toney is often with the club, a player who might be an option in January.

And whilst that would undoubtedly be a strong move for Arsenal, it does seem as if Gabriel Jesus’ skill set is being understated.
Jesus’ arrival at the Emirates coincided with Arsenal sustaining their first title challenge in recent memory.
And although he missed a large chunk through injury, there’s no doubt that the Brazilian helped raise standards at the club.
It is slightly harder to defend Eddie Nketiah, a player who is much loved and capable of brilliant moments, but lacks consistency.
And although Neville may be deemed correct on Nketiah’s position, it does seem harsh to suggest that Jesus, a player with four Premier League medals, isn’t up to the task for Arsenal.
However, Neville isn’t alone in these thoughts.
Chris Sutton recently compared Arsenal’s attack to Liverpool’s, stating that Jurgen Klopp’s team had a big advantage.
It would certainly be interesting to hear Mikel Arteta’s honest thoughts on the matter, and it’ll be similarly intriguing to see how Arsenal approach the transfer windows to come.
