‘Must-buy’, ‘Perfect striker’ – Liverpool fans desperate to sign Luka Jovic after he scores against Germany
Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic has been a previous target for Liverpool, .
And after his latest display for the Serbian national team, a number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to rekindle that interest.
The 21-year-old is rated as one of the best young strikers in Europe, which is backed up by his tally of 22 Bundesliga and Europa League goals this season.
And the Serbia international added to his ever-growing reputation with a well-taken headed goal against Germany in an international friendly.
Jovic popped up in the right place at the right time to glance his header in during the 1-1 draw against the Germans.
Liverpool will face a real battle to sign free scoring striker Jovic if they do reignite their interest. Barcelona are thought to be lining up a €50m (just less than £45m) bid for Jovic to test Frankfurt’s resolve.
But having watched Jovic in action last night, causing all sorts of problems for the German defence, Liverpool fans want to see him at Anfield.

Generally think Jovic would suit us more than Werner!Jovic seems brilliantly clinical in front of goal and can score in anyway possible including heading! Whereas Werner just seems like a speedster and as we’ve got Mane and Salah on the wings, Jovic would be a better option
