Morrison could rebuild career under Bielsa at Leeds

Ravel Morrison could be one of the best examples of a wasted talent after being tipped for greatness at Manchester United. He is now 25 and set to be without a club as Lazio have given up on him.

The Englishman had a lot of potential when breaking through as a teenager, with some suggesting he had greater potential than Paul Pogba. Sir Alex Ferguson was a notable fan of Morrison as a young player.

His career has taken him to Italy and Mexico via stints at West Ham United, QPR, Cardiff City and Birmingham City. A return to the English leagues could be next for him.

Under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds United have emerged as one of the best teams in the Championship. Although Morrison has baggage, he remains a player with a lot of natural ability.

It could be that Bielsa considers a shock move to sign the England Under-21 international. There would be risk attached, but the potential rewards would be huge if managed correctly.

As a coach, Bielsa is known to be well liked by players and many of the top managers list him among their influences. He could be the perfect man to rebuild the career of Morrison if Leeds did make a move.
