Chivas USA 1 FC Dallas 3
After going eleven games without a victory the visitors finally achieved it in California. At half-time it looked odds on a home win as Bryan de la Fuente put the home side in front 2 minutes before the break. Things changed though for Dallas as Blas Perez equalised after 71 minutes. The visitors then had to overcome the loss of Jackson who was dismissed with 9 minutes remaining. Instead of shutting up shop though and just playing out time for a draw the away team took the fight to Chivas ꦗand they were rewarded when 4 minutes from time David Arturo Ferreira gave them the lead. The final nail in the hosts coffin was when Ramon Nunez netted a third right on 90 minutes to hand Chivas their third reversal in their last four outings.

Portland Timbers 3 Real Salt Lake 3
The hosts extended their unbeaten streak to three matches with this draw but at the way the match ended they🎀 might think it could have being so much better. Rodney Wallace gave Portland the lead after 24 minutes, but 12 minutes later Nat Borchers leveled it up for the away team. Just as it looked like that would be the score at the break Javier Morales converted a penalty with 2 minutes of the half left to put RSL in front. Back came the Timbers and parity was once again reached after 57 minutes when Diego Valeri converted a spot kick. The visitors were them reduced to ten men after Yordany Alvarez was red carded after 78 minutes and with 4 minutes remaining that looked to be decisive as the home side went back in front when Kalif Alhassan grabbed what looked like the winning goal for Portland. RSL however have not reached the top of the Western Conference without showing never say die attitude and 3 minutes into stoppage time they snatched a leveler when Cole Grossman netted to increase their lead over the chasing teams to three points.
