Mikey Moore reveals what he told Callum Olusesi which came true in Tottenham’s win over Hoffenheim

Tottenham Hotspur’s academy star Callum Olusesi came on to make his senior debut against Hoffenheim and his teammate Mikey Moore reacted.

The academy duo featured in Tottenham’s crucial 3-2 win over Hoffenheim which saw Ange Postecoglou’s team move into the top eight of the group stage.

A Son Heung-min brace and another from James Maddison secured the three points for Spurs and will alleviate some of the pressure on Postecoglou.

Postecoglou has been putting his trust in the youth with his squad decimated by injuries and in Germany, he handed Olusesi his debut.

Olusesi has found himself on the bench for the first team on 16 occasions this season and against the Bundesliga side Postecoglou handed him his first opportunity.

The Lilwyhites ended the game against Hoffenheim with five teenagers on the pitch showing both Postecoglou’s trust in the youth but also how limited his options are.

Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, Will Lankshear, Mikey Moore and Callum Olusesi were the five teenagers who finished the match against the Bundesliga outfit.
