Mikel Arteta shares what he absolutely loves about Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou
Mikel Arteta will be doing all he can to beat Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham tomorrow but that doesn’t mean there’s a lack of respect there.
Arsenal go to Tottenham looking to get themselves their biggest win of the season so far while Spurs will be hoping to strike an early blow to their rivals’ title bid.
However, there is a high level of respect and admiration between both Arteta and Postecoglou.

Indeed, Postecoglou praised Arsenal in his press conference yesterday as he pointed out their qualities.
And speaking in his own presser, Arsenal boss Arteta also took time out to sing the praises of Postecoglou and share just why he’s so well respected.

Mikel Arteta shares why he really respects Ange Postecoglou ahead of Tottenham v Arsenal
Speaking to in his pre-match presser yesterday, Arteta admitted he was full of admiration and respect for Postecoglou.
“I admire him. I admire him and I respect him. I think he has been an inspirational coach in my career because he has done things in his own way in various contexts, in various countries,” Arteta said.
“He has a very unique way of thinking about the game and his philosophy and I love it.
“He stands by it and I think, as well, he represents himself and the club in a really good way.”
Postecoglou’s philosophy could be his undoing
While it’s nice to see managers say nice words about each other and point out what makes their counterparts so great, Ange Postecoglou’s style could actually cause issues against Arsenal.
Postecoglou plays his high line in defence and he is no budging from it at all.
That leaves gaps open in defence and with the pace of Sterling, Martinelli and Saka to call on, Tottenham could be in for a long day against the Gunners.
Of course, it does mean when Tottenham do have the ball they’re higher up the pitch.
But for all the respect Arteta has for Ange’s ways, it could end up playing right into the Spaniard’s hands.
