Mikel Arteta names Arsenal player he was really impressed with at Burnley
Mikel Arteta has suggested that he was really impressed with the defensive contribution Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made 🍬as Arsenal beat Burnley at the weekeꩲnd, .
The G𝔍unners made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League. Martin Odegaard scored the only goal as they beat the Clarets 1-0 at Turf Moor.

It was perhaps Arsenal’s most impressive showin🌳g of the campaign so far. They were made to work hard by a💃 Burnley side who are very good at their own style of play.
But they stood up to thꦕe challenge. Understandably, many of the backline received a lot of 🅠credit for another clean sheet.
But ot൩hers further up the pitch made a key contribution. And when asked about the effort Odegaard put in, Arteta quickly switched attention to Aubameyang.

“I was really impressed with Auba as ꧅well – I think his rhythm and high pressing was fantastic,” he said, . “It was a real commitment and purpose because you can go to try and win the ball or put pressure [on] – but you can tell when you are really doing it or when you’ve been told to do it.”
Arteta getting best out of Aubameyang could go long way to determining how Arsenal fare this year
Aubameyang remains Arsenal’s best attacking player by some distance. Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both look set for peripheral roles amid doubts over their futures.
Meanwhile, Folarin Balogun is still developing.
So a lot rests on Aubameyang’s shoulders.
The good news is he appears motivated to💯 put his previous struggles behind him. He has scored four goals in all competitions this ওseason.
And Arsenal appear to hav🎃e some momentum at long lꦯast.
Obviously, tougher tests lie ahead for the Gunners. And the fans will no𝔍t be getting carried away. Their victories have come against Norw🍌ich and Burnley.
But there does appear to be ꧂so🌠me encouraging signs – with Aubameyang one of those coming in for plaudits.
