And Arteta insisted that he could have hardly asked for more from t🧜he striker following his latest display.

“I’m really happy with the performance today, the performance against Burnley and what💎 he is doing,” he said, .

“When he is getting 𝐆criticised and we ask him to do more he stood by it. He puts his hea🐭d down and is working tremendously hard for the team. Now I can tell you he’s really leading the team.”

Aubameyang has plenty to prove for Arsenal this season

There were factors behind Aubameyang’s underwhelming season last year. But he should have sti꧋ll done a lot better given the excitement surrounding his new deal at the Emirates.

He is definitely off to a very goo𝕴d start at the beginning of this campaign. He also bagged a hat-trick in the Carabao Cup win at West Brom.

But he now needs to keep this going and ensure that his display on Sunday is a not a highlight in another poor se🏅ason.
