Mikel Arteta has persuaded Edu to explore last minute transfer deal for Arsenal
- Exclusive from Graeme Bailey
Arsenal are turning out to be one of the busiest clubs in the Premier League as the clock ticks down on deadline day.
Mikel Arteta‘s side have only been able to add two new faces to their squad over the course of the summer.
But the possibility of more arrivals cannot be ruled out with Neto undergoing his Arsenal medical this morning ahead of a loan move from Bournemouth.
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for a new forward with the Gunners having been put on red alert for any late opportunities.
As it stands, TBR Football understands Raheem Sterling’s are claiming they are not aware of how talks are going, they are awaiting the outcome.

Mikel Arteta has urged Edu Gaspar to seek deadline day deal
One player who has emerged as a potential target is Chelsea winger Sterling with Arsenal reportedly in talks to sign him.
The scenario is that Sterling is likely to stay, but there is a chance Arsenal take him with his position at Chelsea having been made clear.

Arteta has pushed Edu Gaspar to explore the deal and TBR understands Arsenal’s hierarchy have been won around by Arteta on this.
An interesting few hours remain ahead of both Sterling and the north London outfit who are looking into the possibility of a deal.
Arsenal also linked with deadline day for Kingsley Coman
With the Gunners in the market for a new winger, late opportunities are going to be the best chance for Arsenal to land some new additions.
One of the player who has reportedly also been offered to Arsenal is Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman.
However, David Ornstein has already suggested that this is a deal which, to his knowledge, is not expected to happen.
“And names are always floating around. And the latest being reported by our colleague, Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail is Kingsley Coman,” he said,
“My information is that that’s not one that’s developing, as things stand. Let’s see if that changes in the course of these last 24/48 hours.”
Big hours await the north London side in the market.
