Mikel Arteta has given green light for ‘outstanding’ Arsenal player to leave this summer
Mikel Arteta is now thought to be willing to sell a much-loved Arsenal player this summer when the club will be very busy.
Edu Gaspar and the Arsenal boss must already have extensive transfer plans for the off-season, when the club will look to build on this season’s efforts.

Regardless of what happens, Edu and Mikel Arteta are trying to improve the squad each and every year, as we saw with last season’s signings.
And although there wasn’t too much controversy around deals for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, moves for Kai Havertz and David Raya were definitely questioned.
But the success of those transfers has reminded the Arsenal faithful to ‘trust the process’ so to speak.
And that trust may be put to the test this summer once again when one or two of the club’s much-loved players could depart.
The likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah have become fan-favourites for a reason, two Hale End graduates who made it all the way.
And whilst their respective futures could still be up in the air, it seems a decision has been made regarding Charlie Patino.
Mikel Arteta now willing to sanction an Arsenal exit for Charlie Patino this summer
According to , much heralded Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino could finally leave the club this summer.
Once hailed as the gem of Hale End, Patino could now be set for a move abroad with just one-year-left on his contract.

The 20-year-old was thought to have ‘outstanding’ potential as a youngster, but has failed to bridge the gap to Arteta’s first team.
And according to this report, Patino does have considerable interest from clubs in Spain.
Of course, Patino does hold a Spanish passport owing to his father’s heritage, which would make any move a lot easier.
And given his loan at Swansea City hasn’t exactly helped prove his readiness for the first-team at Arsenal, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that Arteta would be willing to sanction a summer exit.
Time for Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly to come through?
It would represent the end of an era for Patino at Arsenal, a player who looked destined to star for the club in the past.
But with the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly coming through, it’s understandable that the club would let the 20-year-old move on.
That being said, fans will hope we are not one day saying the same thing about the two names mentioned above.
And on the topic of exciting youngsters, perhaps this week’s draw with Bayern Munich explained why Arsenal should try to sign a Barcelona star this summer.
